Both are popular ATS platforms in Poland, but they solve different problems. Hiring managers get real access

In eRecruiter, hiring manager access is relatively basic: they can view candidates and leave comments. Element goes further. You can share specific stages of a process with a hiring manager, and they can move candidates between those stages and trigger automated messages. The recruiter stays in control of who sees what. Your payroll person can access only the "Hired" stage, and the onboarding lead sees only "Onboarding." Everyone gets notified automatically when a candidate lands in their stage.

Scored application questions

Element lets you add unlimited application questions of any type: dropdowns, checkboxes, open text, file uploads. The difference is that answers can be scored invisibly. Candidates don't see the scoring, but the recruiter sees which applicants passed the threshold and which gave disqualifying answers. When you have 300 applications for one role, this cuts screening time from hours to minutes. eRecruiter supports application forms too, but without built-in scoring.

Custom fields on everything

Need to tag a project as "urgent," assign it to a department, flag it for an agency, or mark it as a talent pool instead of an active recruitment? In Element you create custom fields with any data type (dropdown, multi-select, date, text) and attach them to projects. Then filter by those fields across all your processes. There's no limit on how many you add. eRecruiter has custom fields too, but with more restrictions on field types and filtering.

Built-in LinkedIn sourcing

Element has a built-in search engine for LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow. You don't need a paid LinkedIn Recruiter license to search profiles and add candidates to your pipeline. This alone saves most teams a few hundred euros per month. eRecruiter offers LinkedIn integration through the official API, which requires a LinkedIn Recruiter seat.

Reporting

Element logs almost every action in the system: candidate status changes, recruiter activity, time between stages, source effectiveness. You can export raw event data at any time and build custom reports in Excel, Power BI, or whatever your analytics team uses. The built-in dashboards cover the basics (time-to-hire, source ROI, pipeline funnel), but the raw data export is where larger teams get the most value. eRecruiter provides standard reports and dashboards, but raw data export is more limited.

Job Monit — competitive intelligence

This is something no other ATS on the Polish market offers. Job Monit scans 50+ job boards daily (Pracuj.pl, LinkedIn, OLX, Indeed, and more) and lets you search all their listings from inside Element. You can track what your competitors are hiring for, which portals they use, and set alerts for specific companies. Recruitment agencies use it to find potential clients. It's included in Element's subscription at no extra cost.

Element's pricing is significantly lower than eRecruiter's for comparable functionality. The reason is simple: low operational costs and no large sales team to support.
