VR welding training: an innovative technology from Poland
Dig In Vision is a Polish startup that lets you train welders in VR, with AI tracking their progress. No real metal, no gas, no burnt fingers.
Dig In Vision’s technology lets you:
- run virtual welding courses
- test welding skills during recruitment
- monitor and report on trainee progress
- cut down on expensive hands-on sessions with real equipment
- reduce material and energy waste
Here’s why this gets me excited: the world is short on welders, and training them the old way is slow and expensive. VR won’t replace grabbing an actual torch, but it can get people up to speed faster and at a fraction of the cost. The fact that this is built in Poland makes it even more fun to watch.
