Recruitment needs of selected industries in Poland - April 2020 - Element ATS Recruitment Report
The latest Element ATS recruitment report, including an update on recruitment needs in several key sectors of the Polish economy. We deliberately waited with the update until the end of April. We wanted to present the recruitment data from the whole month, and not only it’s the first part, where business was affected not only by the pandemic but also by Easter.
Recruitment data collected with our ATS is presented, as usual, on a chart. The chart takes into account both April and the first quarter, which was a little bit more widely discussed in our previous reports.

Recruitment report ATS - April 2020
I am not going to analyze the data or make predictions of what the increase (hopefully) in recruitment needs will look like in the coming months. However, no particular analysis is needed to conclude that April was by far the worst month of this year. This poor record is undoubtedly due to not only pandemic but Easter as well.
It is worth noting that the ICT industry, which has been holding firm in the first quarter, has been under pressure and recorded a slightly higher loss than the financial industry. The hospitality industry dived by far the strongest, by 83% compared to the January level.
I sincerely hope and wish everyone that in the May report, the indicators will start to rebound from the current level.
In a few days’ time, we will publish the updated recruitment report on specific job positions in Poland.
